Heineken® 0.0 steps up as title sponsor of IMPI Challenge

Heineken® 0.0 will “bring the vibe” to the sport of obstacle course racing with their title sponsorship of one of SA’s most iconic adventure events, the Heineken® 0.0 IMPI Challenge.

Consisting of three action-packed events, the Heineken® 0.0 IMPI Challenge boasts a magnificent trail run route that features exciting obstacles that are strategically placed.  Enter individually for a tougher challenge, or as part of a team and laugh from start to finish.

“We are excited to welcome Heineken® 0.0 to the IMPI Challenge Family,” says Pieter du Plessis, Heineken® 0.0 IMPI Challenge Race Director.  “The event encourages friends and colleagues to embrace a healthy lifestyle, get outdoors and get dirty.  Each venue is unique, boasts awesome trails and includes all the right ingredients for adrenaline pumping obstacles that will require crawling, swinging, climbing, jumping – just about everything fun.”

“Remember the fun does not stop when you cross the finish line,” continues du Plessis.  “The IMPI Challenge is renowned for its buzzing festival village.  Enjoy a mouth-watering meal and reward yourself with an ice-cold Heineken® 0.0.  Laugh about the day’s experience, or better yet start planning to take on your next Heineken® 0.0 IMPI Challenge.”

“Heineken® 0.0 allows you to enjoy the great taste of beer for all social occasions when you don’t fancy alcohol,” says Lauren Muller, Heineken® Marketing Manager, South Africa.  “The Heineken® 0.0 campaign #NowYouCan speaks directly to consumers who are professionals, active parents and health conscious who choose not to drink alcohol in that moment. The campaign premise is around the inclusiveness of Heineken® 0.0 to all moments and social occasions that call for a great-tasting beer.  The IMPI Challenge is such an occasion and we are proud to come on board as the title sponsor of such a fun and inclusive event.”
